Sunflowers

In one of the best-known paintings by one of history’s best-known artists, Vincent Van-Gogh offers a mesmerizing study of color and texture. His heavy painterly technique details each aspect of the bouquet, while golds, yellows and greens create a dynamic composition. Although beautiful, the flowers also appear to be wilting, a fitting creation for this talented yet often mentally unstable artist.
